Kayak/Fitness hike
|
|
We will split into two groups. Group 1 will do kayaking and group 2 will complete a fitness hike with heavy rucksack. Both groups are to meet in the car park of Hellesdon Mill, Hellesdon Mill Lane (get directions from google maps) at 7.15pm sharp - please do not be late. Group 1 Kayaking - Felix, Callum, Josh, Charlotte, Izzy, James, Tim, Cara, Oscar, Tom L, Harry. Kayakers will need a wet suit if you have one (old clothes and waterproof if not), wet shoes or old trainers, towel, drink and a change of clothes for if you get wet. Group 2 fitness hike - Ebony, Seb, Tom B, Alec B, Stephane, Jonothan, Anna, George, Alex Law, Lauren, Jessie, Harrison, Jacob, Kieron. Hikers will need a large rucksack filled with something heavey to carry ie normal camping equipment, or a few bags of potatoes. We would like your pack to weigh approx. 10KG as this is training. You will also need to bring in your pack a waterproof, snack and drink. Walking boots or strong trainers if you have them. Pick up for both groups will be at 9.15pm at Hellesdon Mill car park. If you cannot make the kayaking then please call Helen or Paul asap on 01603 622848 this is important as we have to load the kayaks first.

Don't forget:
Kayaking gear or hiking gear as listed above. Payment for Peaks Expedition if you have not paid the full amount. Next week we will meet in the same place and swap the groups around. If you are on the Peaks exped, it is important that you do your kayaking session as we will be white water kayaking during our exped.
